Hashtag PerCapita Private Limited is an engineering & planning advisory firm established in 2021 between a group of like-minded planners, engineers and public health professionals working in the intersection of water and sanitation.

The mission of Hashtag PerCapita Pvt. Ltd. (HPC in short) is to use livelihood and lifestyle analytics to inform collective societal decisions. Central to this approach of ours is to evaluate the unit-level impact of social, economic and environmental variables on settlement planning and policy advisory.

Winner of Sanitation Hackathon 2024

The Humus Bioreactor won the 1st Prize (& awarded 5000 €) at the Sanitation Hackathon 2024 from an applicant pool of 77 participants from across 28 countries. The Humus Bioreactor was presented as a scalable IoT based greywater treatment technology with high reuse potential as an innovation for ‘Greywater Recycling for small-scale agriculture’.

Final shortlist at Dragon Den organized under the FTL programme of the British High Commission

Amongst 31 Finalists of the 82 applicants selected under the Frontier Technology Livestreaming (FTL) programme to be featured at the Dragon’s Den (21st June 2022) by the British High Commission.

The Frontier Technologies Hub works with UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) staff and global partners to understand the potential for innovative tech in the development context, and then test and scale their ideas.

Our team members have close to 15 individual years of experience (guided and mentored by eminent sector experts with close to 35 years of experience) in providing advisory, research and training assistance in areas of environmental engineering, planning and policy development informing sustainability interventions across over 80 cities spread across India, Cambodia, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan
